Mueller Enterprises Mueller Enterprises started in 1980 in Dawson City, Yukon — wiring gold mining operations at the edge of the Canadian frontier. Over four and a half decades, that small Yukon electrical company has grown into one of Western Canada’s most trusted industrial contractors.

Today, Mueller operates from offices in Williams Lake, BC and Whitehorse, Yukon, serving mining, forestry, renewable energy, and heavy industrial clients across British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. The work is still the same: reliable power, precision installation, and round-the-clock response in some of Canada’s most demanding environments.

DEREK SOKOLANCo-owner/ President

Derek Sokolan brings over a decade of expertise in the electrical trade, with a specialized focus on the industrial sector. A Journeyman Industrial Electrician since 2017, he possesses extensive knowledge in the operation, installation, and maintenance of generator power systems and their associated control systems. Additionally, Derek holds an Unrestricted A Ticket, enabling him to work on any voltage required, showcasing his versatility and advanced skill set within the field.

KEVIN SOKOLANCo-owner/ President

Kevin Sokolan has been working in Electrical for over 10 years with a heavy focus in Industrial Electrical. He has been a Journeyman Industrial electrician since 2022.
He also has a bachelors degree in Business Management from UCB with focuses in Investment and Financial Analysis, and Environmental Earth Sciences. Kevin Sokolan is also internally COR certified and trained and experienced in many aspects of light to heavy construction.

JASON WILNEFFDirector of Business Development

Jason Wilneff is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in client acquisition and engagement across North America’s energy and mining sectors, with a focus on Yukon exploration. He excels in sales, market adaptation, and corporate marketing strategies. Known for his strong communication skills, Jason has trained and led sales and technical teams, managed promotional events, and optimized operations to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

LARRY PENNOCKOperations Manager

Larry brings over 18 years of experience in the Industrial Electrical field, with a specialized focus on the Mining Sector. Beginning his career in 2005, Larry transitioned into management in 2016, starting with Estimating and small-scale Project Management. As his expertise grew, so did the complexity and scope of the projects he managed. Today, he serves as the Operations Manager at Mueller, overseeing large-scale operations with a strategic approach honed through years of hands-on experience.
