Haeckel Hill Wind Project
Mueller Enterprises Ltd. was proud to be a key contributor to the Haeckel Hill Wind Project, a milestone in renewable energy for the Yukon. Located just outside Whitehorse, this development marked a major shift in territorial energy policy—paving the way for independent power production and the installation of the first utility-scale wind turbines in the region.
In ideal wind conditions, the Haeckel Hill turbines generate up to 4 megawatts of clean energy—enough to power between 400 and 900 homes. This significantly reduces reliance on diesel generation during the winter months, cutting emissions and promoting a more sustainable energy future in the North.
Mueller’s Role at Haeckel Hill
Mueller Enterprises Ltd. was responsible for delivering critical electrical infrastructure to support the commissioning and long-term operation of the site. Our scope included:

• High-voltage terminations
• Ongoing maintenance and technical support
Burwash Landing Wind Project
